When I need logos in different colors for a project, I prefer to work with vectors. One of my favorite productivity hacks is to set up multiple artboards in Illustrator and create all the versions of the logo I think I’ll need. I label the boards accordingly with naming conventions like ABCLogo_FullColor, ABCLogo_Blk, ABCLogo_White, etc. Then when I save my screens, I set up a preset to export SVGs, EPS and PNG (transparent background). You can even sort the file types into separate folders. This hack is particularly helpful for setting up Brand Kits on Canva (Pro). I also do logo elements, icons, and social media icons at the same time. This saves me time when I’m laying out marketing materials.
