Posting excessively on social media isn’t a strategy. A thousand posts no one sees are still a thousand posts no one sees. You may look “busy,” and sure, it’s a good way to introduce or advertise your products to build awareness, but if you’re looking for sales and brand recognition, approach it strategically with an end goal in mind. If you use Instagram to post reels and stories, you may have seen your “skip rate.” Yeah. That means out of all the people who see your post, a certain percentage of them are skipping riiiight by it. Zero chance for engagement.
Marketing is about direction. Find the people who want what you offer and lead them somewhere that matters—a website or a product/service link where they can take action. That’s why it’s called a CTA (call to action). If you don’t have an audience that regularly sees your content, posting “like crazy” won’t lead to sales or engagement – likes, comments, or shares. Going viral is rare, and it’s not something you plan for. Organic content builds awareness. Paid distribution drives action. And if the people seeing them aren’t buyers, that’s not marketing or strategic—it’s just noise.
